Blogging is the new 'pink'!

The best item of persuasion is most undoubtedly money. The best method method of persuasion is of course, giving money. A friend of mine had just won a popular magazine's bachelor of the whatever competition and I said "congratulations" and right after that "how much did you get?". I realized a second later that it was insensitive and most inapropriate. But I still wanted an answer. Recently I have also received a rather abnormally large paycheck and I could not have been happier. It might be a rather dull and watered down subject but it tends to reinvent itself over and over again you just can't help but give a serious thought about it.

Whenever I ask my internationally colorful students about what matters most in life you'll probably get the answer 'money!' 90% of the time. The ten percent are usually hipocritical answers like 'family' or 'world peace'. They say money can't buy happiness; well, 10% of the time anyway. It's so true that a student once said that the thing he missed most from his childhood was the comfort of being able to play without paying. How uncool.
